DuPage Slingers was started as a way to teach parents how to use slings to carry their babies, to help them learn how to use the slings they have, and to teach parents how to determine which sling is right for their use.  We welcome all parents and caregivers, as well children at the monthly meetings. Parents are also welcomed to contact us via email  or telephone throughout the month with any questions on using slings. We also have a yahoogroup where you can connect with other babywearing (the art  of carrying your baby in a sling) parents and get answers to babywearing questions.

The group is led by  co-leaders Amy and Giselle. Both have been leading the group for nearly two years and have experience with a variety of slings. They have been babywearing their children from infanthood through toddlerhood and beyond.
